Description
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented marketing professional who is looking to make an impact in our Business Development and Marketing (BDM) team.
The BDM team is at the centre of a client-focused growth strategy that is raising our profile as one of the UK’s leading Audit, Accountancy, Tax and Advisory firms.
We’ve set ambitious plans to significantly grow the size of our business over the next few years, having already achieved double-digit growth for the past eight years. We’re ranked in the Top Five of Accountancy Age’s Mid-Tier Power Rankings and certified as a Great Place to Work.
As a Marketing Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution and analysis of marketing and business development initiatives. Working within our in-house team, your focus will be on events, campaigns, communications, and reporting - helping to drive awareness, deepen client relationships, and deliver measurable value.
You’ll bring fresh ideas, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive mindset to support the firm’s strategic goals and contribute to our continued growth.
To be successful in the role, you’ll need to take responsibility and ownership of tasks, adopt a strong commercial mindset, build effective working relationships, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work on multiple tasks within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

* Respond to delegate enquiries professionally, providing helpful and personalised support to ensure a positive experience.
* Provide on-the-day support for events, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional attendee experiences.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and event delivery.
* Assist with post-event reporting, lead tracking, and analysis to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements.
* Conduct market research and data analysis to inform marketing and business development activities.
* Collaborate with the Bids team to prepare high-quality pitch documents and proposals in line with deadlines.
* Assist with lead generation and follow-up activity, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and managing communications.
* Maintain inventory of branded materials, event supplies and marketing collateral.

* Familiarity with all aspects of event coordination, including logistics, catering, venue set-up, staffing, tech support, and promotional material preparation.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach, able to work independently and provide outstanding stakeholder support.
* A collaborative mindset, strong teamworking skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
* Comfortable taking the lead on-site at events - confident in directing others and resolving issues in real time.
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
