Role Summary
We are looking to recruit a potential senior nurse leader to join our innovative management team in Doncaster, as part of our staffing structure review. We have 46 beds distributed over 3 wards, including our 6 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
We want to hire someone who can demonstrate convincing clinical leadership skills at this level who is committed to furthering their professional development. We see our service as a genuine specialism and this post forms part of our plan to provide career progression alongside continuous service improvement.
You’ll have the scope to complement and support our innovative leadership team. Recent inspirational quality enhancements include, embedding the principles of the Safe Wards model to inform clinical practice and upskilling nurses to provide psychologically informed patient interventions.
Key Requirements
You must be a qualified RMN, able to demonstrate related learning beyond registration and be prepared to continue enhancing your clinical skills.
It is important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary service provision and the challenges that face people with acute mental health issues, along with the staff who support them.
We want to hire someone that is passionate about mental healthcare, with a strong conviction for recovery focused practice and possesses communications skills of the highest calibre.
You must show that you are caring and compassionate with a desire to safely manage your staff team for the benefit of our patients in an effective and efficient way.
You must have an excellent understanding of risk assessment and management and how to work within professional boundaries.
