ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - LEADING SPORTS BUSINESS
Based: West London
£32,000 - £35,000 plus benefits and study support (CIMA or ACCA)
Successful and well known sport business is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant for their accounting team in their UK office in West London on a permanent, full time basis.
Working closely within a small team and reporting into the Financial Controller, the role of the Assistant Management Accountant will involve supporting the finance team in a range of reporting, controlling and general accounting tasks along with various other ad hoc responsibilities. The position is varied and will offer an increased scope of work as the individual progresses.
Responsibilities for the Assistant Management Accountant will include:

* Responsibility for Accounts Payable and Receivables
\t
* Act as a go between the finance department and the business
\t
* Balance sheet reconciliations
\t
* Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
\t
* Support the team with the budgeting and forecasting process
\t
* Assisting with ad hoc month end close and reporting.
\t
* Investigating and clearing any outstanding items
\t
* General financial admin tasks when required
Candidate requirements:
\t
* At least 2-5 year’s finance experience, ideally in a fast paced environment
\t
* Must have previous experience of working with Xero
\t
* Would suit an ACCA or CIMA studier or AAT level 3 or 4.
\t
* May suit a recent finance or accounting graduate with some finance experience
\t
* Excellent attention to detail and excellent customer service.
\t
* Great communicator, who enjoys working as part of team as well as working solo to complete their own job duties.
\t
* Knowledge of Word and Excel.
\t
* Ability to remain focused whilst working under pressure and tight deadlines
\t
* A genuine interest in sport
Applicants for the Assistant Management Accountant position should be able to hit the ground running with at least 2-4 years experience in a similar role.
