Reception Year Teacher – Full-time, long-term position from January 2026 until July 2026 (with possible extension to December 2026)
We are seeking an experienced Reception Year Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
* Work closely with support staff and parents to promote holistic development
* Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth through play-based learning
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reports and meetings
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Early Years settings, preferably Reception
* Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Reception Year Teacher
* Passionate about early education and creating positive learning experiences
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
