Job Responsibilities
* Carry out calibration, planned, and breakdown maintenance on various plant and apparatus including transducers, automated equipment, emissions monitoring equipment, PLC / DCS, etc.
* Maintain records of all EC&I equipment and system maintenance and calibration using the corporate Asset Management System or other appropriate means.
* Report, diagnose, and remedy plant defects, proposing improvements where appropriate.
* Propose and develop modifications to plant/apparatus as needed.
* Perform duties related to company health & safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including audits.
* Supervise company and contractor staff as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified to HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, with knowledge in control, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
* Experienced engineer/technician with a recognized apprenticeship.
* Knowledge of maintenance techniques related to control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic transducers, and instrumentation.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a continuous process industry.
* Experience with high voltage apparatus.
