What you'll do
* Design and implement migrations of infrastructure and services from old to new platform
* Liaise with service owners to arrange suitable timing for migration activities
* Adhere to strict change control guardrails
* Build automation for new platform
* Understand and modify existing code to work with new technologies
* Create new deployment pipelines using approved technologies
* Adhere to configuration and API standards
* Knowledge share and ability to work in a supportive manner with the distributed team.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
* Solid technical knowledge of Python, API development and code testing and review.
* Hands on experience with automation languages, platforms and tools (Bash, Jenkins/CICD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Hashicorp Vault)
* Good basic knowledge of networking concepts (BGP, Routing, TCP/IP, certificates/PKI, VMware, KVM) with a focus on F5 load balancers.
