We are currently looking to recruit three experienced Project Planners to support key clients on long-term gas infrastructure projects.
Role Overview
As a Planner, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of complex infrastructure works. These roles are ideal for planners who are comfortable on-site, working alongside engineers, supervisors, and commercial teams to drive accurate, realistic, and efficient programmes of work.
We’re particularly looking for individuals with experience in cost- and resource-loaded scheduling, ensuring programmes reflect true delivery expectations and align with budgets and available manpower.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed, fully cost- and resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
* Collaborate closely with site teams to track progress and forecast remaining works
* Support earned value analysis and project reporting requirements
* Attend site regularly and work with operational teams to validate progress
* Liaise with commercial and engineering functions to align programme and cost data
* Provide delay analysis, mitigation planning, and scenario modelling
* Monitor critical path and advise on potential risks and recovery strategies
Requirements
* Demonstrable experience as a planner within gas, civils, utilities, or M&E projects
* Strong understanding of cost and resource loading in project schedules
* Proficiency with project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
* Comfortable working in site-based or hybrid roles
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Ability to interpret technical documentation and integrate into planning workflows
* Full UK driving licence advantageous
