Role Purpose
* To Support Short Term Hire, Sales & Service.
* To provide professional Delivery/Collection of Equipment to Briggs Equipment Customers.
* To Support the Commercial Vehicle Department
Main accountabilities and responsibilities
* Deliver/Collect Hire equipment to and from Customer sites daily.
* Ensure that all equipment delivered to Customers always have Pre-Hire Inspection Ticket Present. No equipment is to be delivered if this is not present.
* Software Systems to be completed for all delivery/collections accurately and retrieve correct signatures for equipment.
* To carry out visual inspection on all equipment being collected from site for chargeable damage and that this is noted on software system.
* Ensure that all equipment loaded/unloaded for delivery and collection is done so in a safe manner and that equipment of secured correctly for transport.
* To be compliant with both working/driving time direct in terms of the correct use of tachograph card.
* To complete daily driver defect reports daily on a software system noting any defects.
* To complete Equipment PHI of equipment as required dependent on the level of activity that day.
* To participate in yard duties as required (ie holidays, busy periods etc)
* To ensure Truck is kept clean and free of any debris that could cause harm to you or damage to vehicle.
* Undertake equipment demonstrations for safe operation of equipment as requested by customers.
* To operate all equipment for delivery/collection in a safe manner.
* Take responsibility for own Health and Safe as well as your colleagues ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to all times.
* Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times (High Viz Vest/Steel toe boots etc)
What will help you excel in this role
* Class C+E driving license & Driver CPC Training
* Significant driver experience in a similar role
* A safe pass, FLT License & Access Equipment License is also desirable
