Academic Appointments are working in partnership with our Special Educational Needs Schools in Bradford who are looking for passionate individuals, currently working within the care sector to transition into working within schools.
We are recruiting specifically for a wonderful and supportive SEND School in Bradford to support vulnerable young people with Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties. (PMLD).
The roles available are centred around the personal and physical needs of the most complex students at the school and will involve supporting the sensory curriculum as well as the safety, wellbeing and nurturing of pupils.
The roles will most likely involve elements of personal care, feeding, changing and moving & handling responsibility, however the school will provide manual handling training and all equipment would be provided.
Who are we looking for?
A successful candidate would be able to demonstrate:
* A history of working with SEND
* A confident, caring, and assertive personality.
* Experience with Children is preferable but not essential.
* Willingness to attend CPD courses.
