Learning Support Assistants (LSA)
We have a position for a KS 1 and KS 2 LSA
* Closing Date: Applications will be considered upon receipt, and interviews arranged accordingly.
* Job Start Date: as soon as possible
* Contract/Hours: 32.5 hrs/wk, Term time only plus one week. M-F 8.30am-3.30pm with ½ hr lunch
* Salary: Band 3, FTE £24,027 - £24,420 pro rata £18,791- £19,098

St John's Cathedral Catholic Primary is a small, friendly school in the heart of Portsmouth. We have a tradition of providing an excellent education alongside superb pastoral care.
We are currently seeking to appoint experienced LSAs to work across our school and nursery with pupils who have a range of needs. The role will include working with pupils with behaviour and/or special educational needs. Duties may include some break time supervision, support in class and personal care.
We are looking for LSAs who:
* Have experience of working with children with special educational needs
* Will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of pupils enabling them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
* Will promote the Catholic ethos of the school
* Are positive, caring and works well in a team
* Have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent)
