About the role
* Deliver gym programs and inductions, providing proactive gym floor cover advising and assisting members, running group fitness classes and personal training sessions.
* Support the success of the team, stay engaged and ready to deliver consistently exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
* Demonstrate the ability to deliver outstanding training sessions, motivating others while bringing positivity to people’s health and wellbeing goals.
* Prioritise mindfulness and well‑being, remain passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind.
* Orient and implement ongoing programmes of promotional and motivational events aimed at sustaining high levels of member retention.
* Manage day‑to‑day operations of the pool and spa plant, ensuring everything is in good working order and addressing any operational risks.

About you
* NVQ Level 2 Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer qualifications is essential; Level 3 personal training qualifications desirable.
* Qualifications in pool testing and/or pool plant desirable; full training can be provided.
* Confident in water, as Leisure Club Assistants also act as pool responders and first aiders.
* Enjoy motivating others and feel confident acting as an expert to give suitable advice on health and fitness that matches people’s individual goals and aspirations.
* Driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service.
* Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling anticipation of guests’ needs and delivery of a Hand Picked experience.
* Have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to create lasting memories for guests.
