Work Pattern: Mon - Fri / 08:00 - 17:00 / 40 hours per week.
Overview
This role involves supporting aircraft installation and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and compliance with engineering standards. You’ll work closely with supervisors, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality avionic solutions.
Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain avionic systems and electrical looms
* Interpret wiring diagrams and design data accurately
* Perform off-aircraft workshop tasks and assist with hangar operations
* Support aircraft movements and general housekeeping
* Ensure health & safety compliance and use of PPE
* Collaborate with design office and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
* Experience with helicopter systems and confined space work
* Skilled in soldering, crimping, and continuity testing
* Familiarity with specialist test equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable with shift patterns (allowance payable)
Qualifications
* Formal aviation apprenticeship or equivalent
* Experience with Airbus Helicopters
* Valid driving license
