You will be responsible for monitoring access, handling communications, and ensuring all procedures are followed effectively.What you'll do:Handling all communications including telephone, radio, and emergency proceduresControl of all personnel and vehicle access to and from siteManaging visitors, including identity checks and liaising with site sponsorsMonitoring site barriers and CCTV systemsChecking fire, security, and other detection systems and taking appropriate actionMaintaining accurate records and logsConducting routine security patrolsReporting faults on equipment promptlyCarrying out random vehicle speed checksCompleting site muster reader checks in line with the monthly scheduleConducting KPI audits as requiredMaintaining the security vehicle as part of weekly routinesGeneral administrative dutiesDay Shift Duties (06:00 – 18:00)Monitoring and ensuring all gatehouse equipment is functioning correctlyCarrying out communication checksProcessing all site visitors in line with proceduresConducting site speed checksPerforming weekly Public Address system test (Thursdays at 08:00)Carrying out bag and vehicle searches as requiredConducting random access pass auditsNight Shift Duties (18:00 – 06:00)Carrying out communication checksChecking security mailbox and preparing visitor list for the following dayProcessing visitors in line with proceduresMonitoring all gatehouse equipmentConducting security patrolsCollecting and filing daily hours reportsUpdating site safety boards with current statisticsWhat you'll bring:A valid and in-date SIA LicenceProven experience as a corporate security officer or similar positionsAn eye for detail, with strong observational and communication skillsAbility to handle emergencies calmly and effectivelyAn understanding of security practices and processesWhy Join SodexoWorking with Sodexo is more than just a job.
