Who You Are You are a dedicated individual with experience working with older people and/or individuals with disabilities. You hold a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent professional qualification and are registered with Social Care Wales. You are committed to a person-centred, strength-based, outcomes-focused approach and have a flexible approach to working with the ability to work outside of core council hours when required. You have direct experience with line-management, working under pressure, and maintaining compliance within a regulated service. What the Job Involves This role involves acting as a senior carer, supporting complex cases by partnering with adults to increase their independence at home following illness or hospitalization. You will contribute to a quality care service, line manage a team of Reablement Care Workers, and provide formal supervision while ensuring compliance with Cardiff Council’s policies and procedures. Collaboration with the Reablement and Bridging Locality Team Lead is crucial to handle enquiries and uphold service standards. You will also provide care and strength-based support and mentor Reablement Care Workers, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to health and safety standards.
