Location and setup
Hybrid working in Hertfordshire, with regular on‑site attendance required due to the nature of the work.
What you will be doing
* Support test engineering activities throughout development and production readiness phases
* Diagnose faults within electronic sub‑assemblies and circuit cards, supporting resolution through testing and analysis
* Assist with the introduction and configuration control of test equipment and facilities
* Produce and maintain test specifications, operator instructions and technical documentation
* Work closely with manufacturing, operations and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support the development of new production test solutions
Skills and background
* Relevant qualification in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline
* Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Knowledge of electrical and electronic test equipment and measurement techniques
* Familiarity with fault diagnosis techniques for electronic or electro‑mechanical systems
* Experience using manufacturing or enterprise systems such as SAP, MES or similar platforms
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
Essential requirements
* Able to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
* Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline
* Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment
* Understanding of electronic measurement, fault finding and test principles
* Experience working with manual or automated test equipment
Salary and rewards
Circa £44,000 depending on experience.
