Job Opportunities at Freehaus
Freehaus is currently recruiting for two separate positions within our growing studio:
1. Architect
2. Architectural Assistant (Part II qualified)
We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our design led practice. Please read the job descriptions carefully and apply for the role that best matches your qualifications and experience.
1. Architect
We are seeking an exceptional Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Part III Architect 1-3 years qualified, with the ambition to lead project outputs and develop into the role of Project Architect.
Responsibilities & Experience Required
* ARB registration with 1–3 years post Part III experience.
* RIBA Stages (0–7) experience.
* Confident in client facing and community stakeholder engagement roles.
* Good understanding of construction details and building regulation compliance.
* Proficient in Revit and Microstation.
* Ability to coordinate consultants and mentor others.
* The ability to author reports and other written documents.
Additional Preferred Experience
* Job running experience including contract administration.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholder clients.
* Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Projects You'll Work On
You will be involved in a range of exciting projects in London and Oxfordshire including educational spaces, cultural institutions and community focused projects for private and local authority clients.
2. Architectural Assistant (Part II qualified)
We are also seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced Part II (at least one year of working practice), eager to contribute design outputs with a view to commencing their Part III study following 12 months in the role. They will need to be a good communicator and be able to work collaboratively,deliver rigorously and an ability to working on a number of projects concurrently under the supervision of a Senior Architect.
Responsibilities & Experience Required
* Part II qualification.
* Strong working knowledge of Revit and Microstation.
* Previous experience in a similar role at a design-led architecture practice.
* Ability to author design packages and author reports/documents.
Additional Preferred Experience
* Comprehensive knowledge of Revit, covering modelling, model management, and content creation.
* Client facing experience.
* Worked on range of projects, particularly from RIBA stage 3-4 onwards.
* Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
