We are seeking an inspirational, quick-thinking, and capable PPA Teacher to join one of our friendly and inclusive partner primary schools in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who enjoys teaching across different year groups and is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences.
About the PPA Teacher Role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
* Confident in delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across a range of subjects.
* Strong behaviour management with a positive, supportive approach.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Flexible and adaptable-able to step into different classes and support a variety of learning needs.
* Reliable, motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality PPA cover across the school, ensuring continuity of learning.
* Teach pre-planned lessons or create engaging sessions tailored to the needs of each class.
* Support pupils’ progress, confidence, and wellbeing in line with school expectations.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team to promote a positive learning environment.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere.
* Provide constructive feedback and follow school policies consistently.
