As a Section Engineer, you'll be managing the technical compliance of the project to the design specification to ensure the project (or section) is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and coordinating civil engineering works including earthworks, drainage, highways, structures, and utilities.
2. Supporting project delivery by supervising staff and assisting management to meet programme and specification requirements.
3. Ensuring safety and compliance with Kier Highways SHEA Policy, legal standards, and industry best practices.
4. Leading planning and stakeholder coordination during design and construction phases, including temporary works and technical issue resolution.
5. Monitoring quality and contractor performance through site inspections, enforcing standards, and ensuring accountability.

This role of Section Engineer is ideal if you have:
* A relevant construction-related degree or HNC qualification.
* A valid CSCS card.
* A strong understanding of temporary works and construction methodologies.
