Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new opportunity?
My client, a commercial construction company deliver a broad range of projects across the Southeast and London. They specialise in strip out, refurbishment and fit-out works for clients including commercial buildings, industrial units, shopping centres, universities and housing associations.
The projects typically range in value from £25,000 to £2 million.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the very busy commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day commercial and contractual activities on commercial construction projects
* Pricing variations, preparing valuations, and negotiating with clients and subcontractors
* Placing subcontract orders and managing subcontractor accounts
* Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
* Producing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
* Attending site meetings as required, including occasional meetings in London
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the commercial construction sector
* Proven experience working on refurbishment, fit-out or strip-out projects
* Strong, broad construction knowledge
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
