Job Opportunity: Full-Time/Part-Time Dental Nurse
Location: Letchworth Garden CitySalary: £13.00-£16.00 per hour (this is dependent on experience and how the interview goes)
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clinicians during general, restorative, surgical, and sedation procedures, ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.
* Monitor patients before, during, and after sedation procedures in accordance with current guidelines and best practice.
* Take, process, and manage dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with IRMER regulations.
* Prepare sedation equipment and medication, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, sedation logs, and consent documentation.
* Support decontamination and infection control processes, ensuring compliance with CQC and HTM 01-05 standards.
* Provide chairside support for a wide range of dental treatments, including complex and multidisciplinary cases.
* Offer reassurance and guidance to nervous or anxious patients undergoing sedation.
* Ensure all equipment, instruments, and materials are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
* Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and support the smooth running of the practice.
