This role is Senior Security Manager / Security Operations Manager for a large high end retail destination and therefore experience of high security site management, counter terrorism knowledge, Martin's law knowledge, experience of working with the police and emergency services for both planned and reactive partnership work is highly advantageous. Your role will be to manage the officers and the day to day operations of the team and their requirements, marrying this with a high end security provision, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing is maintained overall and allowing for flexibility for events, implementing training across the team working with the team to assist with the smooth running of the £4Million budget security contract. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Management of: Site Managers. Site Supervisors. Prestigious Single Site Portfolio. Responsibility for a high security site with overall responsibility for a large team of officers. Management of direct and indirect costs. Transfer of customer contracts to technology driven solutions. Client Liaison at a senior level and multi layered relationship piece Full P&L responsibility, budget setting, KPI setting and management. To effectively manage operational capability of the site, this role will be a strategic position though you should have a hands on approach, leading from the front. To ensure effective communication between all key individuals. Recruitment, training and development of your direct reports. Identification and assistance with the integration of acquisitions. Motivate and develop your team with a view to developing individuals through the business who are recognised as future managers of the business, leading from the front and ensuring a best-in-class service to client via a fully functioning operational team. Development and implementation of complex security plans for both general site management and for high profile events. Liaising with Police and other external stakeholders for security matters. Managing and controlling Sensitive Information. Promoting and driving a good security culture throughout the organisation and ensuring required security protocols are adhered to by all. ESSENTIAL QUALITIES: Experience within Security Management. Experience of managing a P&L / budgetary responsibility. Evidence of consistently motivating and managing teams. Proven client relationship management You will have worked on a variety of demanding and detail orientated projects with demanding time frames for delivery on time. Strong leadership skills to lead from the front and inspire. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at board level with clients and internal stakeholders, possess and practice high quality communication and presentation dexterity.
