Manpower Engineering are delighted to be recruiting TIG/MMA Welders to work directly with our client on the prestigious Hinkley Point C project - the UK's first 3rd generation nuclear power station.

The Role
* Welding high-integrity pipework and structural supports to radiographic standard
* Working to strict quality and safety standards
* Following fume control and quality procedures
* Days or Nights available (38 hrs Mon-Thu + overtime)
Weld Tests
To be considered you must be prepared to take the below tests:-
* Butt Weld - 2' carbon steel pipe weld, 6G, all TIG
* Fillet Weld - 2' carbon steel pipe to plate, horizontal, TIG
* Butt Weld - 2' stainless steel pipe weld, 6G, all TIG
* Fillet Weld - 2' stainless pipe to plate, horizontal, TIG
Requirements
* Level 2 / Apprenticeship / City & Guilds in Welding
* TIG and MMA Pipe Welding experience
* CCNSG Safety Passport (or willingness to obtain before start)
* Right to work in the UK
* You must be able to pass Baseline Personal Security Standard and a DBS Check
