Join the ambitious team at RAINEY MAPAL, an industry-leading tool supplier and manufacturer based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with CNC metal cutting experience, to work with us in a Sales & Applications role covering a number of existing aerospace & automotive customers in Northern Ireland as well as searching out new business opportunities. This individual will work closely with the team at RAINEY MAPAL in Lisburn & MAPAL UK office in Rugby.
Responsibilities
* Developing and optimising job processes and for increased efficiency.
* Sourcing technical information as needed and providing expert technical advice.
* Developing new business.
* Ensuring quality control and troubleshooting when necessary.
* Setting up and running trials on new tooling.
* Collaborating closely with our technical team to custom machine parts and show improvements for clients.
* Generating technical quotations as required, including manufacturing or machining techniques for specific jobs.
Key Responsibilities
* Supports and grows business at existing customers
* Developing new business and opportunities
* Working remotely in Northern Ireland visiting customers
* Communicating and collaborating with our Area Sales Manager and internal teams in Lisburn

The ideal candidate for this role possesses
* An apprenticeship in Mechanical Manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
* 2-3 years’ experience as a CNC programmer (preferred but not essential)
* Proficiency in design software such as CAD / CAM (preferred but not essential)
* Based in Northern Ireland
* A team spirit and good communication skills dealing with both customers and colleagues.
* A valid driver’s licence
