Manager or Team Leader (6 Bed LD Care Home) £34,125.00 Horsham RH13 5AY NEW SERVICE A new service to the Group as part of a recent process change, therefore we are still getting to know the Service, but moving swiftly in the right direction! We are looking for an experienced Service Manager with good people management skills, who is motivational/positive and has knowledge of LD. Full-time role, with two management days per week, the rest of the time supporting PWS- all hours worked flexibly across the week according to needs of the Service. Currently supporting 5 PWS (full capacity being 6 so far), both male and female with LD, and some PWS with mobility needs- Supported Living setting. This post includes working both earlies and lates as well as an occasional Night Shift. It is VERY important to know that this role is not a Mon-Fri 9-5 job. The rota is across 5 days a week including alternative weekends. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and People Management Quality Management Management Health And Safety PERSON SPECIFICATION At least 3 years recent experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and autism at supervisor/management level. Experienced in Working in partnership with other professionals e.g. health, local authority, CQC. Ideally have an NVQ Level 4 (Level 3 is essential).
