The Job
As our People & Systems Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person for payroll, training, and employee records. Based at our Rosehill Head Office, Carlisle, your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining accurate, compliant employee files and databases.
* Checking and collating monthly payroll data to ensure correct and timely payments.
* Serving as the first point of contact for payroll queries.
* Performing checks on payroll data to record exceptions, overtime, commissions, pension contributions, holidays, and absences accurately.
* Managing training records to ensure staff are trained and compliant.
* Registering new starters and leavers on our Occupational Health platform and managing recall reports.
* Running reports from payroll and benefits platforms for headcount and overtime tracking.
* Providing key employee documents throughout their lifecycle (e.g., probation, sickness reports).
* Notifying IT of job title changes to keep systems aligned.
* Supporting recruitment activities such as posting ads, scheduling interviews, and updating our applicant tracking system.
* Updating the organisational chart and intranet.
* Supporting a positive workplace culture through proactive support.
* Ensuring GDPR compliance in employee records.
* Responding confidently and accurately to employee queries, familiar with company policies.
* Maintaining a user-friendly intranet for employee self-service.
* Assisting with reward and benefits administration.
* Preparing people data for informed business decisions.
* Following all company policies, especially health, safety, and environmental policies.
