We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Poole. This is a permanent opportunity for a CNC Turner who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and producing high-quality components using modern CNC lathes.
As a CNC Turner, you will be working on small to medium batch components in a clean, organised, and quality-driven environment. The CNC Turner role offers the choice of day or night shifts and suits someone who can confidently set and operate Fanuc or Mazak controlled lathes and deliver reliable results from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc or Mazak controls
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Select tooling, set offsets, and prove out existing programs
Complete first-off inspections and work to tight tolerances
Record setup and run times and provide process feedback
Maintain a safe, clean, and quality-focused work areaEssential Skills and Experience
Proven experience working as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment
Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Mazak controls
Methodical and accurate approach with pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently and meet quality standardsDesirable Experience
Multi-axis CNC turning experience
