The Australian SKA Regional Centre (AusSRC) is a national initiative supporting the global SKA Observatory’s mission to build and operate the world’s largest radio telescopes. AusSRC is a collaboration between CSIRO, Curtin University, Pawsey Supercomputing Centre, and The University of Western Australia, providing cutting‑edge data processing and software development to enable groundbreaking astronomical research.

About you
* You hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science and Programming.
* You have experience developing distributed or enterprise software solutions.
* You’re skilled in Agile/SAFe methodologies and can manage complex problems in dynamic environments.
* You communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* You bring experience in astronomy or other computational science domains, and familiarity with modern software design techniques.
Note
Occasional intrastate, interstate, and overseas travel will be required. The ability to work across time zones and flexibility in working hours to accommodate earlier or later meetings will be required by the successful applicant.

Salary
Base salary range: $116,262–$127,078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
