Your Profile
Above all, we’re looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people’s lives. You’ll also need:
* Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of working in a busy housekeeping environment.
* A committed and organised approach.
* A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexible to work shifts.
Other Duties
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training; encourage and support staff in their development and training.
* Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are understood, develop understanding and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support. Safeguard adults in a way that recognises their choice and control. Adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies at all times.
* Provide evidence of any untaken training.
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
* Complete all training as determined by the home.
