About Our Client
This not-for-profit organisation operates within the education sector and is based in Woking.
Job Description
3. To check all invoices on receipt, reconcile delivery notes and statements, obtain authorisation, code invoices and process on SIMS/FMS
4. To process all supplier invoices/credit notes in a timeous manner, verify accuracy, approvals and account coding in accordance with financial procedures
5. To maintain supplier accounts
6. To initiate all payment runs via the Banker's Automated Clearing System (BACS)
7. To accurately file paid invoices
8. To issue remittances
9. To process staff expenses in accordance with procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
10. Experience in a similar role.
11. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
12. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
13. Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
14. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
15. An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
