Overview
Highly specialized Speech & Language Therapist role in the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. The post is 0.6 FTE and focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, including conducting assessments for ASD and ADHD within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to completing assessments for ASD and ADHD within the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and assistant psychologists.
* Receive clinical supervision from a clinical psychologist experienced in neurodevelopmental disorders, and group supervision from the team.
* Access development and CPD opportunities (e.g., ADOS training).
Qualifications
* Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist (0.6 FTE) with an interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and related experience.
Location
Springfield University Hospital, Tooting. The largest, 19-ward site in Springfield Village, following a £150m investment into two new world-class mental health facilities. Close to shops, cafes and transport links including Tooting Bec on the Northern Line, Earlsfield and Tooting rail stations and bus routes.
