Salary: £88.94 – £104.84 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a dedicated and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) looking to support young learners in a thriving school environment?
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and skilled Level 2 TA to work in a welcoming school in Barton-upon-Humber. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy supporting children’s learning and development and want to make a positive impact every day.
Role Overview:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of teaching staff to support pupils' educational and emotional needs. You will help deliver targeted interventions, encourage classroom engagement, and assist in creating a safe and supportive learning space.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide support to pupils in both group and 1:1 settings.
* Help prepare classroom resources and organise activities.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils to aid their learning and development.
* Assist in monitoring and recording pupil progress.
* Support pupils with additional needs where required.
Requirements for Level 2 Teaching Assistant:
* A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant school-based experience is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills..
* A patient and proactive approach to learning support..
* Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
