Woodstock Furniture is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of skilled Cabinet maker / Bench Joiner to join our growing team in Andover, Hampshire.
We specialise in designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke interiors for the high end residential market working with private clients, developers and Interior Designers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about woodworking, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to craftmanship.
You will be working in a collaborative workshop environment, using both traditional methods and advanced machinery to create high quality, custom furniture and cabinetry that exceed our clients expectations
What we are looking for
Candidates must be able to meet the following criteria
Proven experience in Cabinet Making both fitted and freestanding
Skilled in the use of both hand tools and power tools
Proven ability to carry out a job from start to finish
Able to to independently read and work from technical drawings
Able to work independently as well as part of a team. You should be self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Must be able to work to high standards with attention to detail and quality
You will be responsible for making bespoke joinery items and be required to use a range of woodworking machinery.
Fluency in both written and oral English are essential
