The VacancyWPS are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of our responsive repairs service within the social housing sector. This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing both the contract and the operational team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with performance targets. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day management of the responsive repairs contract.Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors.Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and contractual KPIs.Build strong relationships with clients, residents, and internal stakeholders.Monitor budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective delivery.Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the service. RequirementsCurrent experience as a Contracts Manager in responsive repairs or a closely related field.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.Strong understanding of social housing and the challenges of delivering repairs services.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
