Role - Maths Teacher
Start Date - Easter 2026
Duration - 1 Year
Location - Canterbury
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a range of secondary schools in the Canterbury area who are looking for dynamic and dedicated Maths teachers to join their supportive teams. The roles are full time with a salary of between £32,916 and £51,047 depending on experience - PAYE!
The role:
* Plan and deliver effective Maths lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students
* Set high expectations that inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
* Attend Departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
* Create a supporting and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum and lesson plans
Requirements:
* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
* Have the ability to differentiate lessons to ensure the needs of all students are met
* Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
