Senior Quantity Surveyor - M&E / Heat Networks
Location: Epsom
Salary: Up to £80,000 package
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and rapidly growing heat networks provider based in Epsom. This is a key commercial role within an expanding business delivering complex, M&E-led energy and heat network projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will support operational projects from a commercial perspective, working closely with project and operations teams to ensure costs are controlled, budgets are managed effectively, and projects are delivered within financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing cost control and budgets across multiple operational projects
* Preparing valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
* Monitoring project performance and reporting on commercial progress
* Working closely with project and operations teams to drive efficiency
* Identifying cost risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting successful project delivery
* Providing commercial guidance and mentoring where required
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Strong background in M&E, energy, utilities, or engineering-led projects
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
* Commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
* Confident communicator able to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Experience in fast-paced or growing organisations is advantageous
