Data Governance Manager
Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Operations Data Governance Consultant.
Overview
Genpact is seeking a data governance professional to implement the Firm's Global Data Quality Policy for the Division's Critical Data. The role involves partnering with Operations and Divisions to document data traceability and the data quality control framework, aligning with BCBS239 regulatory requirements and the Firmwide governance strategy.
Responsibilities
* Support and drive implementation of data projects relating to BCBS239 Regulations (Data Policy Implementation / Data Lineage) through application of policy principles and guidance.
* Develop a strong understanding of Data Policy standards and use this to influence stakeholders.
* Support Firm-wide data transformation initiatives such as BCBS239 on behalf of Operations.
* Work closely with key Operations stakeholders across the Business to ensure compliance with data policies.
* Build expertise in Collibra and cataloguing Data requirements.
* Identify enhancements or process improvements related to project work as required.
* Liaise with other Divisional Data Offices to ensure deadlines and requirements are addressed in a timely manner, escalating issues where necessary.
* Develop and maintain effective partnerships across all stakeholder groups within Operations, across Divisions and Business Units, Technology and Legal and Compliance.
* Understand and progress Data Issue Management strategy as it relates to the Project.
* Maintain and develop regulatory and functional business knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert and central point of contact for Operations on Data Quality matters relating to the Project.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will preferably therefore have:
* Clear and effective communication, interpersonal skills and analysis. Some business knowledge of financial products is helpful, but strong communication, analysis and time management are essential.
* Good organization and project management skills for leading data projects and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels of the Firm.
* Stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive change within the division and across a large stakeholder group including business units.
* Team ethos and ability to work face to face and remotely; sharing information is key to team success.
* Proactive learning and desire to develop in a specialized role; motivated, self-driven and able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
* High level of ownership and accountability.
