Job Title: Business Analyst (12-Month Maternity Cover)
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid – ideally 2 days per week onsite)
Salary: £53,000 + Benefits
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Start Date: Ideally immediate, but flexible for the right candidate
The Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a varied role supporting a broad portfolio of products and projects across the business.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into clear deliverables for Scrum teams. The role focuses on communication, coordination, and ensuring requirements are clearly understood rather than deep technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with stakeholders across the business to gather and clarify requirements
* Translate business needs into clear user stories and requirements for Scrum teams
* Work alongside delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively
* Support multiple projects across a diverse product portfolio
* Maintain clear documentation of requirements, processes, and outcomes
* Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years experience xperience as a Business Analyst
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for delivery teams
* Comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities
* Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is beneficial
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps would be advantageous
* Automotive or Manufacturing experience would be nice to have
Industry or technical background is not essential — we’re looking for someone who can quickly understand business needs and communicate them clearly across teams.
Working Arrangements
* Hybrid working model
* Ideally 2 days per week in the Milton Keynes office, though some flexibility can be discussed
