Quality Assurance Technician
Responsible for performing comprehensive testing and validation of software components and product features through manual testing and the utilization of test tools. Skilled in applying established testing processes, planning and executing tests, reporting bugs with detailed and actionable information, and writing test scripts using the team's frameworks. Proficient in creating test plans for small components and simple features, demonstrating a strong understanding of the product's functionalities and underlying technologies, including connectivity aspects like Bluetooth (BT), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Mesh, Zigbee, SmartHome, and MATTER Protocol. Collaborates with team members to identify the most effective testing techniques and participates in test planning, scoping, and prioritization discussions. Tracks and reports relevant testing metrics, ensuring quality adherence and advocating for customer needs. Continuously learns and expands knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and the business context behind the software.
