This is a permanent, part-time position with a guaranteed 32.5 hours per week.
In this role, you will:
1. Prepare, cook, and serve healthy, balanced meals to pupils in line with service standards
2. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently following training
3. Set up and clear down dining areas, including moving and arranging furniture
4. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all catering areas
5. Support the Unit Manager with task allocation and team supervision
6. Step in for the Unit Manager when required
7. Communicate with pupils, staff, and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner
8. Attend training sessions and team meetings as needed
In this role, you will:

10. Help prepare, cook, and serve healthy, balanced meals to students
11. Keep catering areas and equipment clean and hygienic

Working Hours:
19. Monday to Friday
20. 6.5 hours per day
21. 32.5 hours per week – term time only
Qualifications & Experience:
22. Basic numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
23. Catering qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ equivalent are desirable
24. On-the-job training will be provided
