We are looking for a highly organized Materials Planner to join a leading manufacturing company for a 3 month (ongoing) contract. In this role, you will manage production schedules, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services. Key Responsibilities: Production Scheduling: Create and manage production orders based on sales forecasts and business needs. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels for materials and parts, ensuring everything is available for production. Pick List Generation: Prepare and issue lists for warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material availability. Transaction Monitoring: Ensure all production and material transactions are accurately recorded in the MRP system. Issue Reporting: Report any risks related to production or materials and work with teams to find solutions. Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to streamline processes.
