Our client, a rapidly expanding national automotive company located in Winsford, is actively recruiting for a skilled MOT / Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Duties as the new Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will include:
10. Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
11. Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, and tyre fitting
12. Use alignment machines and interpret readings to ensure precise adjustments
13. Complete vehicle inspection sheets and ensure compliance with company standards
14. Identify additional faults and communicate findings effectively to customers and management
15. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Candidate specifications for this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
16. Level 3 Mechanics qualification or valid MOT Licence
17. Proven experience in a professional workshop environment
18. Solid knowledge of tyre fitting, brakes, cambelts, clutches, and exhaust systems
19. Full UK driving licence
20. Strong customer service and communication skills
21. Ability to work effectively within a busy team
22. Focused on quality, safety, and attention to detail
