Are you a passionate and experienced leader with a heart for making a lasting impact on young lives? We’re looking for a Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children's home dedicated to providing safety, stability, and support for children and young people.
In this vital role, you’ll be at the helm of a warm, nurturing home—guiding a committed team, shaping a trauma-informed environment, and ensuring the highest quality of care in line with regulatory standards.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the home’s daily operations
Deliver safe, therapeutic, and person-centred care that puts young people first
Use the PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) model to support emotional development
Oversee safeguarding and risk management with a proactive, trauma-aware approach
Champion staff development through training, supervision, and leadership
Manage the home’s budget, resources, and environment to maintain a safe and welcoming space
Work closely with professionals, families, and external agencies to advocate for the best outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience managing a children’s home (or as a Deputy ready to step up)
A deep understanding of children’s social care legislation (Children’s Homes Regs 2015 & Quality Standards)
Strong leadership, decision-making, and people skills
A commitment to trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and child-centred practice
