We are looking for a committed and dedicated Cover Supervisorto join a supportive team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom supervision across a range of subjects in the absence of the usual class teacher. Beginning September 2025.
This role is vital in maintaining continuity of learning and a positive environment for students.
Duties as Cover Supervisor:
* Deliver pre-set lessons and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide supervision and guidance during class activities.
* Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.
* Report back on student engagement and any issues to the relevant staff.
Ideal General Cover Teacher:
* Is flexible, reliable, and confident managing classes across Key Stages.
* Has strong behaviour management skills as a Cover Supervisor.
* Is calm under pressure and has a professional attitude.
* Can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.
