A PE-backed SaaS business with £20M+ in revenue and around 20% market share in their space is hiring a Marketing Executive to join a marketing function being built from the ground up. With serious investment behind the growth plan, a new marketing leadership team in place, and an ambitious roadmap ahead, this is a genuine opportunity to get in early and grow with something.
The business has a strong heritage and a loyal customer base of around 12,000 firms, and is now in an exciting phase of transformation — bringing its marketing capabilities fully in-house and scaling the commercial function for the first time.
About the Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of marketing operations and campaign delivery. You will be the person who keeps things moving — owning the operational layer while also getting hands‑on with content, digital channels, events, and customer marketing. It is a role with real breadth, designed for someone early in their career who wants exposure across the full marketing mix rather than one narrow specialism.
Reporting directly into the Head of Integrated Campaigns, you will work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and the wider commercial team — giving you visibility across the business that most roles at this level simply do not offer. The team is also embracing AI tools in a big way, and want someone who shares that enthusiasm and brings it into their daily workflow.
Key Responsibilities
* Owning the project management system for the marketing team — keeping campaigns planned, tasks assigned, and deadlines on track across everything the team is running
* Supporting the delivery of events and webinars from end to end, including vendor coordination, logistics, and on‑site execution
* Managing HubSpot workflows, data uploads, and campaign setup including sequences and landing pages
* Coordinating with external content writers — briefing, reviewing, and managing output to keep the content calendar on track
* Reaching out to customers to coordinate interviews, testimonials, and case studies, and managing that process end to end
* Assisting with the management of digital marketing channels including social, email, and web
* Acting as the team's champion for AI tools — identifying opportunities to work smarter and bringing the rest of the team along
* Plugging into different parts of the commercial function as needed, picking up tasks and supporting activity across the business as the team grows
The Ideal Candidate
* 1 to 2 years in a marketing role, or a strong graduate with relevant placement or internship experience, ideally within a SaaS or B2B tech environment
* Process‑driven and highly organised, with hands‑on experience of a project management tool such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar — this is a must
* Genuinely tech‑savvy with a curiosity for AI and emerging marketing tools — someone who is already using them, not just interested in theory
* Comfortable working at pace across a wide variety of tasks — high energy, high output, and happy to roll their sleeves up
* Strong communicator who builds relationships easily and is comfortable engaging with customers, external partners, and senior stakeholders
* A natural team player who brings a positive attitude, leaves their ego at the door, and gets satisfaction from seeing things done properly
