MCS Group is partnering with a unique UK Accountancy practice in Belfast to recruit a driven and ambitious Trainee Accounts Technician / Accountant. The Role
You will have a wide range of duties, such as;
* Unique, hands-on role within an exciting portfolio of clients
* Bookkeeping and financial record management
* Raising and processing client invoices
* Regular communication with clients to provide support and advice
* Managing compliance tasks, including Tax Returns and VAT Returns
* Preparation of accounts and financial statements
* Acting as internal accountants for music industry/sports/entertainment clients
* Guiding clients through key processes: contracts, invoicing, and bookkeeping
The Person
The ideal candidate will be:
* Ideal for an Accounts Technician Trainee or a recent graduate in Accountancy or Business
* Ambitious Trainee Accounts Technicians/Trainee Accountants
* Ideal fit for a close-knit, collaborative team environment
* Previous commercial experience is desired (e.g. bar, retail, hospitality)
* Demonstrates a genuine desire to build a career and progress within the industry
* Confident and professional when speaking with clients, both in person and over the phone
