Delegated Authority Analyst
Do you have experience with Delegated Authority and Binding Authorities/Agreements? Do you have a broad understanding of the Lloyd’s and London insurance markets? This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chelmsford, London, or Redhill office.

What the day will look like
1. Owning contract renewals for specific Structured Portfolio Solution (SPS) agreements within AUM, collaborating with business partners to communicate progress to stakeholders.
2. Establishing yourself as the SPS liaison for brokers and stakeholders.
3. Supporting discussions with Delegated Authority teams and capacity providers to keep them updated and understand their needs.
4. Drafting Delegated Authority Agreements and endorsements accurately.
5. Assisting in drafting and analyzing Aon Delegated Authority Agreement templates.
6. Liaising with internal teams to ensure contractual requirements are met and SPS opportunities are supported.
7. Supporting underwriting teams in performance reviews of SPSs with carriers.
8. Analyzing the portfolio to identify insights and opportunities for growth.
9. Supporting SPS product owners in contractual compliance and escalating risks or issues.
10. Ensuring governance and process adherence across SPSs.
11. Supporting initiatives to improve client delivery and operational efficiency through process improvements, IT systems, and automation.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
1. Understanding of Delegated Authority, Binding Authorities, and core insurance processes.
2. Broad knowledge of Lloyd’s and the London Market Insurance.
3. Technical insurance knowledge concerning delegated business management and placement.
4. Ability to provide solutions for complex requirements.
5. Understanding of compliance and FCA regulations.
