We are now looking for a
Quality Engineer
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent, and the preferred location is Havant, UK.
What you will be doing
Working with the Quality team and other functions to ensure the overall quality of our products and solutions provided to our customers. This includes producing and reviewing quality-related documentation, supporting customer and Shipping Classification Society visits, and engaging with suppliers to sustain and improve product quality.
Responsibilities:
* Reviewing material certification against specifications, non-destructive examination, and testing reports.
* Surveying seal assemblies during manufacture, testing, and prior to packing.
* Writing reports to satisfy customer contracts, including Factory Acceptance Tests and material evaluations.
* Evaluating data to identify recurring problems and defining corrective and preventive actions.
* Participating in internal and external quality issues.
* Supporting customer complaint and warranty investigations.
* Supporting internal NCR investigations.
* Conducting internal audits as required.
* Supporting product and project delivery quality planning activities.
* Ensuring all statutory and regulatory Health & Safety requirements are implemented locally.
Qualifications:
* Experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
* Experience conducting audits.
* Strong communication, technical writing, and process improvement skills.
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
* Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, 8D, Pareto, FMECA.
This role may require some travel to meet with customers and suppliers, mainly in the UK but occasionally overseas. Be prepared to travel as needed.
