We are looking for an experienced, people-focused and highly motivated Laboratory Manager to lead our embryology team in London.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the laboratory, maintaining the highest possible standards of clinical quality, patient safety and regulatory compliance, while supporting and developing a high-performing team.
You’ll play an important role in shaping laboratory performance, driving continuous improvement and ensuring patients receive the very best care throughout their fertility journey.
Leading and managing the embryology laboratory on a day-to-day basis
Ensuring the laboratory operates in full compliance with HFEA regulations and internal quality standards
Overseeing laboratory quality management, audits, SOP reviews and service improvements
Monitoring laboratory KPIs, performance metrics and corrective actions where needed
Managing laboratory staffing, workload planning and weekend cover
Managing laboratory equipment servicing, environmental monitoring and quality control processes
Significant experience within a fertility laboratory or embryology environment
Strong understanding of IVF laboratory procedures and quality management systems
Detailed understanding of HFEA regulations and laboratory compliance requirements
Experience managing audits, SOPs and laboratory performance monitoring
Master’s degree in a relevant scientific subject
