A leading speciality Lloyd's Insurance broker within the London market is seeking a Senior Claims Advocate to join its high‑performing team. You’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive environment that values professional growth, flexibility and diverse perspectives.
Your new role
You will deliver expert claims advocacy across Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions, Directors & Officers and Cyber lines. Acting as a strategic partner to clients, you will analyse coverage, shape persuasive submissions and guide claims from notification through to settlement. The role involves managing a varied caseload across Financial and Cyber lines, ensuring timely and accurate progression of claims.
You will assess notifications against policy coverage and wordings, set strategy, and maintainplete digital claim files. You will prepare high‑quality claims presentations and information packs for insurers and clients, respond to queries and instructions, and monitor insurer agreements and payments to ensure funds reach the correct beneficiary promptly. You will escalateplex or contentious matters early, propose solutions to drive optimal oues, and build strong relationships with clients, experts and insurers through proactive, professionalmunication.
The position also requires liaison with placing teams to provide claims statistics for renewals, including production of Claims Renewal Reports, and collaboration with accounting teams on collections, payments and reconciliation. Staying up to date with market developments and systems updates, attending internal and external meetings, and managing workload effectively are all key aspects of the role.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have circa 3 years of experience handling Financial claims such as PI, FI and D&O with a broker, insurer, law firm or loss adjuster. Knowledge of Cyber claims is advantageous. Proficiency with ECF and confidence using Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential, along with strong analytical and numeracy skills and excellentmunication abilities.
You will need to be resilient and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, with a proactive mindset and a desire to develop technically and professionally. An interest in pursuing CII qualifications is weed.
