This role is with NHS Scotland, in the Dundee Community Health Partnership, Community Nursing (Adult Services), Complex Care Team. It is a Permanent post, 25 Hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join the Complex Care Team in Dundee. The role involves providing care and support for a young lady in her own home within a family setting. An orientation package including a training and education programme will be offered to suit the needs of the individual.
Responsibilities
* Provide care and support in a home setting for a young lady within a family environment.
* Work autonomously within a flexible work pattern; use good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Complete required training and education as part of an orientation package.
* Follow the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout employment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* SVQ Level III or equivalent experience in a caring environment.
* Willing to work 12.5 hour shifts over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays.
* Car driver is essential; ability to work in a home setting with a number of animals is required.
* Compliance with Healthcare Support Worker Regulations as outlined in NHS Tayside information.
